Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Open to applicants from all nationalities.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in Demography, Economics, Sociology, Health Economics, Psychology, or other relevant fields of study.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Must have completed a Master’s degree (120 ECTS) or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Must have an A or B grade on the ECTS scale in their Master’s degree (C grade may be considered on an individual basis).
  • Must meet the requirements for admission to a PhD program at the University of Oslo.
  • Must have strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Must have experience in advanced statistical analysis, preferably using Stata or R.
  • Strong interest in men’s family life, fertility, and health research.
  • Knowledge of statistics, causal inference methods, and econometrics is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.
