- Acceptable Course or Subjects: The fellowship is offered for doctoral research in topics related to particle detector physics, including photon-based detectors, ultra-fast data processing, high-performance detectors, and more.
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
- Hold a very good master’s degree or diploma in physics.
- Have experience in research laboratories, ideally with exposure to scintillators, gaseous and semiconductor detectors, detector electronics, or hardware programming.
- Possess substantial knowledge of nuclear, particle, or astro-particle physics.
- Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English (B2 level or higher).
- Display strong team orientation, communication skills, organizational abilities, and independence.
- German language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
