Radboud University is pleased to announce two PhD Position in Marine Methane Biogeochemistry within the Faculty of Science. These positions offer an exciting opportunity to investigate the biogeochemical drivers of microbial methane removal in coastal environments such as estuaries, bays, and fjords. Candidates will focus on either aerobic or anaerobic methane removal processes using cutting-edge techniques including fieldwork, laboratory analysis, and reactive transport modelling.
To be eligible for the PhD positions at Radboud University, applicants must hold an MSc degree in Earth, Environmental, or Life Sciences, such as biogeochemistry, microbial ecology, or environmental chemistry. They should have strong communication skills, a good command of English, and a willingness to grow as independent researchers.
