Aalborg University’s Department of Health Science and Technology invites applications for one or more PhD positions in Medical Informatics and Image Analysis, starting February 1, 2026, or soon thereafter. The project, funded by Karen Elise Jensens Fond, aims to improve the understanding and management of urinary tract stones through advanced data analysis, medical imaging, and machine learning, ultimately supporting more personalized patient care.

Applicants must hold a master’s degree in a relevant field such as biomedical engineering, computer science, or medical technology.
