Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy (DDEA) is offering PhD Scholarships in Classical Endocrinology for outstanding students. The studentship is open for the academic session 2024/2025.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree from a Danish university or an equivalent degree from a foreign institution approved by the Danish Agency for Science and Higher Education. Additionally, the principal supervisor must be affiliated with a Danish university, conducting research at the level of an associate professor or professor within the relevant field.

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities are eligible.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for projects focusing on classical endocrinology, excluding diabetes-related research.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
    • Must hold a Master’s degree from a Danish university or an equivalent degree from a foreign university (approved by the Danish Agency for Science and Higher Education) by the time of application.
    • Must not already be enrolled as a PhD student at the time of grant notification (10 December 2024).
    • The principal supervisor must be associated with a Danish university and conduct research as an associate professor or professor within the subject studied.

Benefits
