Scholarship Description: Now the induction cyclic electron accelerators – betatrons are widely used for industrial and medical purposes. TPU is world leader, carrying out a full delivery process of such accelerators, beginning from design and finishing installation and service at the consumer. Injection system of the accelerator is one of basic part including a vacuum accelerating camber, emitter of electron, high current circuit and a lot of additional systems. Efficiency of the injection system affects the specifications betatron such as X-ray output, weight and dimensions of the radiator, easy service, etc. The development of power electronics, microprocessor technic, new materials have greatly expand the use of betatron, but further expansion of the use of betatron is impossible without the creation of highly effective and reliable electron injection systems. Research is needed in order to create more efficient systems injection for induction of cyclic accelerators developed by TPU.
