Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Open to candidates of all nationalities.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in the field of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related disciplines.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
    • Hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field with a focus on machine learning and natural language processing.
    • Demonstrated experience in implementing and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.
    • Proficiency in database interaction and management.
    • Solid understanding of integrating components into user-friendly web interfaces.
    • Strong research background with relevant publications.
    • Excellent programming skills, particularly in Python, and experience with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
    • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Benefits

The successful candidate will be employed according to the Ministerial Order on the Appointment of Academic Staff at Universities, with salary and employment conditions in line with the collective agreement for state-employed academics. The postdoctoral position is available for 1 year, starting from 1 November 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter.
