The University of Sydney is offering a postgraduate research scholarship for a research student within the School of Life and Environmental Sciences (SOLES). This scholarship provides a $40,109 per annum stipend for up to 3.5 years to support research in soil and microbial ecology.

Eligible candidates must be domestic or international students with an unconditional offer or current enrollment in a Masters by Research or PhD program at SOLES. Applicants must hold at least an Honours degree (First Class or Second Class Upper), a Master’s degree, or equivalent in soil science and related subjects

Benefits

The scholarship provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney’s Research Training Program (RTP) stipend rate (indexed on 1 January each year) for the following durations:

  • Up to 1.75 years for a successful Masters by Research recipient.
  • Up to 3.5 years for a successful PhD recipient.
