  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

    • Apply and enrol in the full-time BSc (Hons) Business and Supply Chain Management at Newcastle Upon Tyne campus in September 2025

    • Be a UK/Home fee status student and self-funded (not receiving sponsorship)

    • Apply for government student finance (Tuition Fee loan and/or Maintenance loan)

    • Consent to share financial information with the University via your finance provider

    • Meet at least one of the following:

      • Live in a low progression neighborhood (POLAR4/TUNDRA quintile 1 or 2)

      • Identify as Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic

      • Declare a physical/mental health condition, long-term illness, or learning difference on your UCAS form

How to Apply

Interested candidates must complete an online written application. Applicants are required to answer the question (in no more than 3,000 characters / 500 words):
“What are your career aspirations in Business and how would a scholarship help you to achieve them? Describe what difference this scholarship will make for you?”

Benefits

  • A cash award of £5,000, distributed during the first academic year:

    • £416 by end of November 2025

    • £416 by end of February 2026

    • £835 by end of May 2026

  • Scholarship funds can be used for living costs or educational needs

  • Potential placement opportunities with RHA members

  • Scholars are expected to write a thank-you letter and provide a progress update to the donor
