  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
    • Identify as Black, Asian, or from a Minority Ethnic background.
    • Demonstrate an interest in the legacy of Stuart Hall, aligning their PhD project with themes of racial justice and equality.
    • Hold a Master’s degree or equivalent, displaying preparedness for doctoral research.
    • Receive support from their primary supervisor, as well as a supportive research environment.

How to Apply

  1. Step 1: Apply for a PhD in one of the eligible disciplines at Kent, consulting a primary supervisor.
  2. Step 2: Visit the CHASE webpage to download and complete the Kent/CHASE Application Form with your primary supervisor’s support.
  3. Step 3: Submit the completed application form to Kent’s Graduate and Researcher College via email at [email protected] by Monday, 2 December 2024. Include your full name, KentVision ID, and preferred email address.
