• Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

• Pay a minimum £5,000 tuition fee deposit by 30 April 2026 (funds must clear into the University’s account).

• Hold and accept an offer for a full-time, award-bearing postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2026.

• Be fully self-funded and pay tuition fees directly to the University (no sponsorship or fee discounting).

• Be a first-time entrant to the University in September 2026.

• Meet all registration conditions before the scholarship is awarded.

• Not be enrolled in or applying for the excluded programmes listed above.

• Deferred applicants may still qualify if the deposit was paid by the deadline and all criteria are met.

• Must not combine this scholarship with:

  • Chancellor’s International Scholarship

  • 20% Herts Graduate Scholarship

  • UG Tri Annual Scholarship

  • MBBS Scholarship

• May combine it with the Full Payment Discount if all fees are paid by 12 October 2026.

• If tuition fees are already paid in full, the award may be used for university accommodation (excluding the £150 refundable deposit).

• Scholarship and discounts are adjusted on a pro rata basis if a student withdraws.

How to Apply

No separate application is required. Eligible students are automatically awarded the scholarship after registration, provided:

• Their deposit has been paid by the deadline, and

• All conditions of the offer and registration are fully met.
