The University of Alberta is pleased to announce the Vietnam Award for high potential applicants in Canada. The program is furnished for Vietnamese students who wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree program at the university.
The University of Alberta is a public research university located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It was founded in 1908 and it is considered a “Comprehensive academic and research university” (CARU), which means that it offers a range of academic and professional programs, which generally lead to undergraduate and graduate-level credentials, and have a strong research focus.

Awarded to students on Study Permits sponsored by the Government of Vietnam with superior academic achievement entering the first year of an undergraduate degree program. Selection based on academic standing. Renewal of funding for the second, third and fourth years is contingent upon maintaining satisfactory academic standing. Recipients of this scholarship are not eligible to receive other entrance awards.
Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: The students of Vietnam can apply for this scholarship.
A number of awards offered: Two scholarships are offered.
How to Apply
How to Apply: for applying, you have to take admission in the bachelor’s degree coursework at the university and after that, you will be automatically considered for the award.
Benefits: The university will provide up to $40,000 for the students.
