The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation is inviting applicants for the Jomo Kenyatta Foundation Scholarship for Secondary School across Kenya.

The Board of Directors of The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation invites applications from qualified Form One Kenyan secondary school students for 2011 scholarships. The Scholarships are tenable in any duly registered Public Secondary School in Kenya.

Eligibility

To qualify they must meet the following criteria:

  • Poor orphan
  • A poor child with a disability
  • Child rendered vulnerable by factors affecting access to education
  • A child suffering from extreme poverty
  • A child who attains 70% of the maximum marks or as agreed by the Board of Directors for marginalized areas and persons with disabilities.

Application Procedure

  • To apply for this scholarship for secondary school students, follow the instructions below;
  • Download the JKF Form Scholarship application with the required documents such as:
  • A certified copy of KCPE result slip
  • A letter of recommendation from the headteacher of the Primary School last attended
  • A copy of Form one-admission letter/joining instructions.
  • Submit the application form and the documents to The Managing Director, The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation, enterprise road, Industrial area, Nairobi or e-mail [email protected]; [email protected]
