University College London is honored to launch the UCL Global Masters Scholarships to support students from lower-income families fulfill their dream to study in the UK. The scholarship application is open for the academic year 2026-2027.

The University College London has established this scholarship exclusively for a full-time master’s degree programme undertaken by international students. The scholarship is valued at £15,000 and is expected to be awarded to 70 international students.

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: All countries outside the UK
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship is open to any full-time postgraduate taught program offered by UCL
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate.

  • Come from a lower-income background (as defined by UCL).

  • Have submitted a complete admission application (including references) for a full-time Master’s degree at UCL for the 2026/27 academic year.

  • Note: Distance-learning options are not eligible; students must attend UCL in person in the UK.

  • How to Apply: Students must first submit an admission application to UCL via the online portal. Students can refer to the ‘how to apply section on the scholarship page to apply for the scholarship.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Official transcript
  • Personal statement
  • Current passport
  • Visa
  • Admission Requirements: The students must have a first or second-class bachelor’s degree from a UK university in an appropriate subject or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard from a recognized higher education institution.
  • Language Requirement: The students must meet the English language requirements of the university.
