To provide a funding source to international students undertaking their higher studies in Sweden, the Umeå University has organized the Postdoctoral Scholarship in Chemical Biology for the academic year 2025-2026.
To be eligible for the postdoctoral scholarship, applicants must hold a PhD or an equivalent foreign degree in a relevant field such as chemical biology, molecular biology, cell biology, or biotechnology. The degree should have been awarded within the last three years, although exceptions can be made for special circumstances like parental leave or illness.

Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in chemical biology, molecular biology, cell biology, biotechnology, or related disciplines offered by the Department of Chemistry.

Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

Hold a PhD (or equivalent foreign degree) in a relevant discipline.

Have completed their doctoral degree no more than three years before the application deadline (exceptions made for special reasons such as parental leave or illness).

Demonstrate documented experience in flow cytometry and cellular assay development.

Possess excellent proficiency in English (oral and written).

Have experience with fluorescent markers, antibody-based detection methods, and data analysis tools (meriting).
