Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: International
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for any subject offered by the University of Liverpool, except for certain clinical programmes
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Be liable to pay full tuition fees at the international rate
  • Be starting a new non-clinical undergraduate programme at the Liverpool campus in the academic year 2024/25
  • Achieve AAA grades in A levels or equivalent qualification
  • Assessed on the qualifications used to gain entry into the University only.

Exceptions:

  • This scholarship is not available for students undertaking the following clinical programmes:
    • Dental Surgery
    • Medicine and Surgery
    • Veterinary Science
  • This scholarship cannot be offered to students studying online or if the fees are being paid by a sponsor, such as a government, commercial organization, or employer.

How to Apply

You do not need to make a separate application to receive the University of Liverpool Undergraduate Global Advancement Scholarship. It will be automatically allocated to all eligible students.

Benefits

  • £3,000 will be deducted from your tuition fees in your first year of study
  • If you achieve first-class honours (70%) in your first year, you’ll then receive a £1,000 fee reduction in your second year of study
  • If you maintain this grade in your second year, you’ll then receive a £1,000 fee reduction in your third year of study
  • All tuition fee discounts are capped at 50% of the relevant fee
  • This award has no exchangeable cash value.
