Bocconi Need-based Scholarship for International Students in Italy, 2017-2018

Applications are invited for Bocconi need-based scholarship available for international students (non-Italian) applying to a Bachelor program or a Law Program or master of Science Program for the academic year 2017-2018. The undergraduate scholarship provides a full tuition waiver, worth approximately € 11,000.00 per year for a maximum of 3 academic years (for Bachelor programs) or 5 academic years (for the Law program). The graduate Scholarship provides a full tuition waiver worth approximately € 12,000.00 per year for a maximum of 2 academic years.

Bocconi University is a private university in Milan, Italy. Bocconi provides undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate education, in addition to a range of double degree programs, in the fields of economics, management, finance, law and public administration.

Applicants must have obtained a valid English language prerequisite according to the program of admission, taught in English or taught in Italian.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate or a Combined Bachelor and Master of Science in Law program or master degree program at Bocconi University.

Study Subject(s): Scholarships are awarded in all subjects available at Bachelor level and Master of Science program at Bocconi University.

Scholarship Award: The undergraduate scholarship provides a full tuition waiver, worth approximately € 11,000.00 per year for a maximum of 3 academic years (for Bachelor programs) or 5 academic years (for the Law program). The graduate Scholarship provides a full tuition waiver worth approximately € 12,000.00 per year for a maximum of 2 academic years.

Scholarship can be taken in Italy

Eligibility: Only applicants for the first year of a Bocconi undergraduate or master program who meet all the following conditions will be taken into consideration for the awarding of the scholarship:

  • Non-Italian citizenship;
  • Non-Italian residence;
  • A non-Italian High School Diploma degree/ Undergraduate degree earned abroad or in Italy.

Nationality: International students are eligible for these Bocconi need-based scholarships.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have a non-Italian High School Diploma degree/ Undergraduate degree earned abroad or in Italy.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirement:

  • Students wishing to participate in one of the International Relations Office Programs must satisfy specific language requirements.
  • Language requirements vary from program to program.
    Please be sure to read all language requirements for EACH individual program (Exchange, Double Degree, International Internship, Campus Abroad etc.) to which you are interested in applying.
  • If a student does not hold one of the accepted International Language certificates or has not passed and registered the Bocconi language exam (with the minimum grade required), an ad hoc test will be organized by the International Relations Office.
  • In general, you do not need to take the ad hoc International Relations test if you hold one of the following:
    1. An English and/or second language International Certificate recognized by our Language Center at the level requested by your program of interest.
      When checking the validity of an International Certificate in order to apply to an International Program, you should just check the level and the score –voto in trentesimi as related to each International Certificate in the Score Conversion Table.
      The Validità Certificazione column should not be considered.

    2. The requested English and/or second language level registered into your Bocconi Study Plan
      or
    3. A copy of your Bachelor or high school degree, proving that the program was taught entirely in English.

International Scholarships

How to apply: Applicants must fill out and submit the online Bocconi Scholarship application form by the same deadline as that of their Bocconi online admission’s application.

Online Application

Application Deadline: Scholarship applications must be submitted by the same deadline as that of applicant’s selected Bocconi admission’s round. The application deadlines are:

  • For Undergraduate: 20 January (Winter) and 7 April (Spring) and
  • For Graduate: 12 December (1st round International), 26 January  (2nd round International), 28 February (3rd round International), 22 March (4th round International) and 28 March (5th round International).
