Applications are invited for Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship from Singaporean students to pursue either a Masters or Ph.D. program at a local or overseas university.
The program will provide up to 2 years of sponsorship for a Masters degree and up to 5 years of sponsorship for a Ph.D. degree.

( votes)The Lee Kuan Yew (LKY) study is synonymous with both prestige and a willingness to serve Singapore. It marks Singapore’s continuous effort to recognize outstanding individuals with the aptitude and inclination to contribute to our society.
Eligibility
Applicants, who must be Singapore citizens, will be assessed holistically.
- This is awarded to pursue postgraduate studies (either a Masters or Ph.D. program) at a local or overseas university.
- This is available to study all the subjects offered by the university.
- This includes their academic achievements and tracks record of leadership and service (e.g. volunteer work, social enterprise, contributions to cultural, scientific and/or academic communities, etc.) within or beyond their profession.
How to Apply: The completed document should be sent to applications-at-psd.gov.sg.
Benefit
Awards recipients will receive a one-off sum of S$10,000 and an annual allowance of:
- S$50,000 for private sector awardees; or
- S$10,000 for public sector awardees, if they are concurrently sponsored by their agencies.
