These PhD Scholarships include full tuition fees, full stipend at the UK Research Council rate (£14,057 in 2015/16) and, in conjunction with the host School, a contribution to research costs at the UK Research Council level appropriate to the discipline.

Number of award(s): University of Bristol Research Scholarships, the Faculty of Science has over 90 funded studentships starting in 2016/17. Any sponsorship requests will be forwarded to the relevant School for consideration.

Duration of award(s): The term of funding is 3, 3.5 or 4 years, according to the particular discipline and training programme, and is subject to satisfactory progress.
