Developing Country Eye Researcher Travel Fellowships
ARVO Foundation for Eye Research in partnership with the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology is offering research travel fellowships for developing countries applicants. These fellowships are to pursue a career in teaching and research in any area of eye and vision research, whether basic or clinical research in applicants’ home countries. Fellowship covers transportation, lodging and per diem, in addition to registration for the ARVO Annual Meeting and complimentary ARVO membership for one year. The application deadline is December 1, 2016.

Florence Nightingale Foundation Travel Scholarships
Applications are invited for Florence Nightingale Scholarships to undertake a study on an aspect of practice and/or education in the UK and/or overseas. These are travel scholarships worth up to £5,000. Scholarships are available to Nurses and Midwives who have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and who work and who are resident in the United Kingdom. Candidates should have at least two years’ professional experience subsequent to registration. Applications from those at the developmental stage of their career are particularly welcome. 2017-18 Applications will open in February 2017.

UACES Travel Scholarships for Postgraduate Students
UACES is offering up to four travel scholarships for existing postgraduate students to undertake research in another country. Research project must be in the ‘Contemporary European Studies’ subject area. Scholarships for a fixed amount of 1,500 GBP will be awarded on a competitive basis to UACES members. Scholarship funds must be used for field work that occurs between 1 February and 31 Jul (applications for trips outside of these dates will not be considered). There is no restriction on nationality. The application deadline is 07 October.

Bangladesh-Sweden Trust Fund Travel Grant for Bangladeshi Students
Economic Relations Division (ERD), Ministry of Finance invites applications for travel grant available for Bangladeshi students under Bangladesh-Sweden Trust Fund. Grant is open to students who have been enrolled at foreign universities/educational institutions for undergraduate/graduate/postgraduate/PhD (Doctoral) level program and received scholarship (full/partial). Bangladesh-Sweden Trust Fund is providing fund for one way air travel fare to the eligible candidates. Preference will be given to those subjects which will play an important role for socio-economic development of the country.

Travel Scholarships for Students of Nordic Universities in Africa
The Nordic Africa Institute is offering 20-30 travel scholarships for students of Nordic Universities in Africa. Scholarships are awarded to masters and PhD students for research and preparation of research projects. The travel research scholarship is awarded once in a year which covers local travel and living expenses. The evaluation of the application is on the basis of scientific quality, relevance and the distribution among the Nordic countries, disciplines and gender. Terra Foundation Research Travel Grants for International Scholars, USA
The Terra Foundation invites applications for research travel grants from doctoral students and postdoctoral and senior scholars outside the United States. These grants enable scholars to consult resources that are only available within the United States. Nine to thirteen grants are awarded annually. Travel should be undertaken within one calendar year after the announcement of the selection results. The application deadline is January 15, 2016.

Postdoctoral Mobility Travel Grant at Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany
Technical University of Munich (TUM) is awarding postdoctoral mobility travel grants to postdocs from around the world. Students who have completed a PhD in one of the research fields listed on TUM Faculties, TUM Clusters of Excellence, TUM Integrative Research Centers, or TUM International School of Science and Engineering within the last 3 years at an institution other than TUM can apply. Research opportunities week is from March 07 to 11, 2016.

British Council Researcher Links Travel Grants
British Council is inviting proposals for Researcher Links Travel Grants available for early career researchers to undertake research in UK (if researcher is based in a partner country) or one of the partner countries (if researcher is based in the UK). There is no restriction on nationality. Applicants must be based in the UK or one of the partner countries identified. Proposals will be accepted in any discipline/multidisciplinary area (including from the natural sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities) but some countries have specified areas which will be prioritized in the final selection process.

The Awards will be given to candidates who have confirmed offers as exchange students by an approved exchange partner, have paid the fees or arranged to pay the fees for full-time enrolment at the University of Auckland. Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is offering Allied Health/Nursing Travel Grants for pursuing research in Australia. Grants in Australia are providing up to $2,000 for domestic travel or $4,000 for international travel to research institutions or scientific meetings, for the purpose of furthering the researcher’s expertise in the study of type 1 diabetes. Applications remain open year round and are considered in three funding rounds throughout the year. The application deadlines are:Round 1 February 1, Round 2 June 28, and Round 3 October 11.

UACES Travel Scholarships
UACES is offering travel scholarships for postgraduate student in UK. UACES are offering four scholarships for a fixed amount of 1,500 GBP to be awarded on a competitive basis to UACES members. Scholarship funds must be used for field work that occurs between 1 February and 31 July. Application deadline is 09 October.

Predoctoral Fellowships for Historians of American Art to Travel Abroad
The National Gallery of Art is awarding Predoctoral Fellowships to doctoral students for research travel abroad. Up to four fellowships will be awarded to students in art history who are studying aspects of art and architecture of the United States, including native and pre Revolutionary America. This fellowship is for a period of four to six weeks of continuous travel abroad. The amount of the award is dependent on the travel plan, with a maximum of $6,000. Applications must be submitted on or before November 15.

U.S. National Commission for UNESCO Laura W. Bush Traveling Fellowship
U.S. National Commission for UNESCO is awarding traveling fellowship to American college/university students who express an interest in international collaboration but as of yet had not been afforded many opportunities to travel abroad. Fellowship is awarded to conduct brief work in a foreign country related to the mandate of UNESCO – using education, natural sciences, social and human sciences, culture, and/or communication and information to build strong ties among nations. The length of time for the travel is expected to be between 4 and 6 weeks. The average fellowship award amount is $2,500. Applications are due September 28, 2015 for winter/spring travel and February 22 for summer travel.

Royal College Peter Warren Travel Scholarship
Peter Warren is offering travel scholarship for postgraduate trainees in medicine or surgery in Canada. Scholarship up to $1,500 will be awarded. Applicants must undertake research projects in the history of specialty medicine, the history of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Applications must be submitted by September 11.

Curtin University offers Student Exchange Travel Grants for pursuing undergraduate degree level in Australia. Grants range from $US500 to $5,000, one-off payments. The Jordan Travel Grant for Research Students
SOAS University is funding the Jordan Travel Grant which is available to research students of UK in the Department of the Study of Religions. These grants will cover the travel expenses incurred by their research projects. Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD degree in the Department of the Study of Religions. RCPE/Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Travelling Fellowships
RCPE and Winston Churchill Memorial Trust are jointly funding traveling fellowships to undertake a short study tour or visit (typically 4-8 weeks) a centre(s) of excellence or innovation. Approximately 100 traveling fellowships will be awarded each year. Grant covers return airfare, daily living, insurance, and travel within the countries being visited and, in exceptional cases, some assistance with home expenses. Applications from May until the end of September for travel the following year will be accepted.

SBSE Solar Travel Scholarships
SBSE is offering up to four travel scholarships worth $600. For SBSE Solar travel scholarship, an applicant must be able to demonstrate an active role in the conference. They must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time application is made and be a member of SBSE.

The University of Sydney Travel Scholarships
University of Sydney is offering travel scholarships for graduate students in Australia. The annual stipend is $20,000. The scholarship shall be tenable for up to two years in the first instance.
