Description: The Department of Electrical Engineering is responsible for research and education in Electrical Engineering. The discipline covers the application of electrical phenomena with respect to energy transfer, telecommunication, and information processing and the technologies involved. Both hardware, in the form of electronic circuits and accessories, and software, in the form of system software for electro-technical application, are the subject of study. Existing and new electrical components and systems are analyzed, designed and realized. In addition, the relevance for society is the subject of research, addressing topics such as user friendliness, sustainability, and environmental impact. The department wants to distinguish itself primarily in the fields of smart sustainable systems, the connected world, and care and cure. The vacancies are positioned in the Electronic Systems (ES) group of the department of Electrical Engineering. The mission of the chair Electronic Systems (ES) is to provide a scientific basis for design trajectories of electronic circuits and systems. The work will be carried out in close collaboration with the Embedded Systems Institute.
