The winning entry or entries will be an excellent academic essay about an important or overlooked aspect of bipolar disorder. It should be original work and demonstrate research skills, writing skills, and insight into bipolar disorder. This means a personal perspective is welcome, but please understand the judging panel are not looking for hard luck stories, sob stories, or purely personal anecdotes.

Scholarship Description: You are applying for the 2012 Bipolar Lives Scholarship. This is a cash scholarship of $1,000.00 USD, to be awarded on July 1, 2012. The scholarship will be awarded based on merit and at the sole discretion of the Bipolar Lives judging panel. 1.
