-Due to processing requirements, the NCS will not consider applicants who plan to travel out of country for more than 90 consecutive days between January 2015 and May 2016. Extended foreign travel is discouraged between January 2017 and May 2017 as well
-Successful completion of medical and polygraph examinations as well as a background investigation by May 2016
-Foreign language skills, overseas experience are desirable but not required

Interns are generally Freshmen at the time of application. Be prepared to undergo a thorough background investigation examining your life’s history, your character, trustworthiness, reliability and soundness of judgment. We also examine your freedom from conflicting allegiances, potential to be coerced, and willingness and ability to abide by regulations governing the use, handling and the protection of sensitive information. The Agency uses the polygraph to check the veracity of this information. The hiring process also includes a thorough mental and physical medical examination in relation to performing essential job functions.
