2013/14 Undergraduate Scholarships in Economics at University of Surrey in UK

University of Surrey, UK offers undergraduate scholarships in Economics.  Two scholarships, the Prior Scholarship and the Jim O’Neill Scholarship are available for 2013 entry. To be eligible for the Prior Scholarship students must achieve A*AA at A level and elect Surrey as their first choice. For the Jim O’Neill Scholarship students must achieve AAA at A level and elect Surrey as their first choice. The student’s family income should be £30,000.   Total offer is of £3,000 a year for 3 years depending on the student maintaining a minimum level of 2.1 throughout their studies. The application deadline is 10th June 2013.

Scholarship Description: Two alumni sponsored undergraduate scholarships are available for 2013 entry, the Prior Scholarship University of Surreyand the Jim O’Neill Scholarship. Both Scholarships will provide £3,000 a year for 3 years depending on the student maintaining a minimum level of 2.1 throughout their studies.  Students will be able to apply for the Scholarships once they have an unconditional firm offer from the University. Applicants will be notified of the decision prior to pre-registration week (mid September). A student can apply for both Scholarships but cannot receive both the Prior and Jim O’Neill Awards. Students can however receive in addition the University’s Chancellors Scholarship, a University Sports Scholarship as well as any other bursary, prize and award for which they are eligible if successful.
