AUCC ConocoPhillips Canada Centennial Scholarship in Canada, 2014-2015

Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) is glad to announce the ConocoPhillips scholarship program for Canadian citizens.

The award is available for pursuing a full-time bachelor degree or diploma program at one of the eligible Institutions in Canada. The main focus of this grant is to encourage individuals with academic excellence and demonstrated leadership.

Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC)  is a non-governmental association that coordinates university policies, guidance and direction. It provides certificate, diploma, undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate program. Students will able to build a better future and take responsibility for the achievement of common goals and objectives.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants must:

  • Be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada
  • Have a minimum average of 70% (or equivalent) in the last academic year of studies;
  • Been nominated by the eligible institution. Each eligible institution may nominate a maximum of 3 candidates per institution.

Oil and gas related studies include the following faculties and areas of study: Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science, Power Engineering, Geosciences, Petroleum Land Administration and Management.

How to Apply 

To be considered for the grant, you need to be part of AUCC after that you can submit their required application through an online portal.

Benefit

The successful students will receive an award amount up to $5,000 CAD per year for a diploma program and up to $10,000 CAD per year for a bachelor degree program.
