The School of Health Sciences is offering number of merit awards to outstanding students who wish to study at Robert Gordon University. The studentships are available for international, UK/EU students to pursue MSc programme in Clinical/Sports Biomechanics, Physiotherapy (pre-registration) and Health Improvement Health Promotion.

Applicants may be an international student or may be a UK/ EU student wishing to study on a full-cost course. IELTS/TOEFL score is required as English language qualification.

Course Level: The studentships are available for pursuing master’s programme (MSc) at Robert Gordon University in UK.

Award: It includes:
-MSc Clinical/Sports Biomechanics – 6 awards of £1000 each.
Course commences September 2016.
-MSc Physiotherapy (pre-registration)/Doctorate of Physiotherapy – 9 awards of £1000 each.
Course commences January 2016.
-MSc Health Promotion and Public Health – 3 awards of £1000 each.
Course commences January 2016.

Eligibility: Applicants may be an international student or they may be a UK/ EU student wishing to study on a full-cost course. 
-MSc Clinical/Sports Biomechanics; scholarships available for overseas students only.
-MSc Diagnostic Radiography (pre registration); scholarships available for both home and overseas students.
-MSc Physiotherapy (pre registration); scholarships available for both home and overseas students.
-MSc Health Improvement Health Promotion; scholarships available for overseas students only
-as UK/EU students already pay a lower fee on these courses (which are part-funded by the Scottish Government) there are no merit-based awards for UK/EU students on these courses in 2014/15.

Nationality: Home/EU and Overseas students can apply for these merit awards.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants may be an international student or they may be a UK/ EU student wishing to study on a full-cost course. 

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirements: A scanned copy of IELTS/TOEFL certificate or other English language qualification.

How to Apply: Please note that in order to be considered for a scholarship, applicants must already hold an offer of a place to study on an eligible course at the School; they must therefore ensure that their application for a place is submitted well in advance. Applicants should return it to us by post or as a scanned copy by e-mail.

Application Deadline:  For the MSc Physiotherapy (pre registration)/Doctorate of Physiotherapy applications University must receive completed application no later than 30 September 2016 and for the MSc Clinical/Sports Biomechanics and MSc Health Promotion and Public Health university must receive completed application no later than 30 November 2016.
