- Admissible Criteria: To be qualified, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- An international student who is a citizen of any nation in the African continent and has been admitted to an NC academic program for the upcoming school year.
- Students applying for Entrance Scholarships are only eligible for one Entrance Scholarship per term.

- International students who completed a minimum of two years of full-time secondary level education (in the final two years of secondary study) or one year of full-time post-secondary or higher education in a country where English is the official first language.

- Niagara College Canada will award a $1000 scholarship in the semester.
- An additional $1000 in semester 2 if the student maintains an eighty percent (80%) average.
