The University of Adelaide is welcoming students to apply for the ARC Grant Funded PhD International Scholarships Opportunity: A Novel Inline High-Efficiency Motor/Pump System for the academic year 2023-2024. 

The award of this scholarship can support PhD studies undertaken at the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology at University of Adelaide. International and Australian students are both eligible to participate to win this stipend grant worth $32,500 for a period of up to 3 years. The winners of the award will be determined on the Expression of Interested (EOI) submitted by the interested candidates.

PhD Scholarships for International Students at University of Potsdam, Germany


  • Eligible Countries: Australian and overseas national students will be considered.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can undertake PhD study at the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology (SET) at the University of Adelaide. 
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia/international students who are acceptable as candidates for a PhD degree at the University of Adelaide.

  • How to Apply: Interested students must submit their admission applications via the university portal. Students must submit an expression of interest via mail to [email protected] to be considered for the award. 
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Degree certificates (testamurs)

  • Translations of non-English documentation
  • Evidence of English language proficiency

  • Admission Requirements: The students must meet the entry requirements of the PhD program they want to get admission in. 
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • IELTS – 6.5 
  • TOEFL IBT – 79
  • TOEFL PBT – 577
  • PTE – 58
  • C1 – 176


The winners of the PhD Scholarship will be awarded a stipend of $32,500 per annum for up to 3 years of study.
