The University of Sydney’s Faculty of Science is pleased to announce the ARC Postgraduate Research Scholarship for the academic session 2025/2026. The scholarship program provides an annual stipend of AUD $41,753 and possible tuition fee coverage for eligible students.

The study award is open to domestic and international candidates must hold (or secure) an unconditional offer of admission in a Master by Research or PhD program within the Faculty, conduct research aligned with ARC-funded projects under the supervision of ARC grant holders, and possess at least an Honours (First or Second Upper) or a Master’s degree.

  2. Tuition Fees: Academic tuition fee coverage for the successful international recipient:
    • Up to 6 research periods for a Master by Research recipient (full-time equivalent)
    • Up to 12 research periods for a PhD recipient, with a possible 2 research period extension (full-time equivalent)
