ASME Auxiliary Undergraduate Scholarships in USA, 2013

American Society of Mechanical Engineering offers five undergraduate scholarships of two thousand dollar each with the names: Allen J. Baldwin scholarship, Berna Lou Cartwright scholarship, Sylvia W. Farny scholarship, Agnes Malakate Kezios scholarship and Charles B. Scharp scholarship. The scholarship is provided to study in mechanical engineering. Student must be US citizen and must be studying mechanical engineering at a college or university with an ABET accredited mechanical engineering program. ASME scholarship is to be used in the final year of undergraduate study so a student will apply in the junior year. Five-year students must apply in the fourth year.

Eligibility: -Scholarship is for a citizen of the United States who is a student studying Mechanical Engineering at a college or university with an ABET accredited Mechanical Engineering program.

Scholarship Description: To recognize and reward students whose first experience has inspired an interest in pursuing an American Society of Mechanical Engineeringengineering career, the ASME Foundation in conjunction with the ASME Auxiliary will award $5,000 scholarships to high school seniors active on a FIRST team, who are nominated by an ASME member, ASME Auxiliary member, or student member active with FIRST. This award will be for the first year of study (non-renewable) at an accredited mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology program.
