The UCL Israel Alumni Association and the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) is offering the British Chevening/UCL Israel Alumni/Chaim Herzog Award for Israeli Nationals in the UK. The award will enable the recipient to undertake a Master’s programme at UCL. Preference will be given to the following subject areas: Public Policy, Economics and History.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), commonly called the Foreign Office (which was the formal name of its predecessor until 1968), or British Foreign Office, is a department of the Government of the United Kingdom.

• Study Subject(s): The scholarships are offered for the master courses offered at the University College London. Preference will be given to the following subject areas: Public Policy, Economics and History.
  
• Course Level: The award will enable the recipient to undertake a Master’s programme at UCL.
  
• Scholarship Provider: University College London Israel Alumni Association and the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO).
  
• Scholarship can be taken at the UK

Eligibility

• Candidates should be between the ages of 25 and 40
  
• Applicants should be Israeli nationals currently living in Israel
• Preference will be given to applicants who have not studied previously in the UK
• Applicants should be graduates of an Israeli University and must have 2 years’ work experience by the time of application, as per the Chevening requirement

Scholarship Open for International Students: Students of Israel can apply for this scholarship.

Duration of award(s): Award is for the duration of the course.

What does it cover? The award will cover tuition fees, return economy airfare and living expenses. The award will not cover costs for accompanying family members.
