The Bursa Malaysia Scholarship is a four-year programme designed to target best-in-class achievers who have obtained excellent results in major government examinations e.g. Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or Matriculation, for sponsorship in local public or private universities.

- Must be a Malaysian citizen aged 22 years and below
- Bursa Malaysia Scholarship students must secure an offer of a place at any local public or private university for a full-time undergraduate degree course for the 2007 intake
- STPM (based on the recent result) and Matriculation students with a CGPA of 3.5 and above (based on latest cumulative result)
- Proven ability in participating or leading in extracurricular and/or social community services
- Be willing to serve an employment bond with Bursa Malaysia upon successful completion of their studies
