The Faculty of the Professions’ Business, Economics and Law Achievers Scholarships are available to Malaysian students. Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate study in either Business, Economics or Law undergraduate program. To be eligible for the scholarship applicants must have applied to study and be offered admission into semester 1 of 2015 at the University of Adelaide. -Have applied to study in either Business, Economics or Law undergraduate program as listed in Annex B(See below: Annex B – 2015 Priority Undergraduate Programs) and be offered admission into semester 1 of 2015 at the University of Adelaide;
-Commence an academic program for the first time at the University of Adelaide;
-Have undertaken the 2014 Pre-University examination in Malaysia or;
-Completion of a Diploma qualification by 2014 with a GPA of 3.2 or above AND;
-Be a citizen of Malaysia

What does it cover? The Faculty will grant Scholarships of AUD $8000 each to applicants commencing in one of the priority Bachelor degrees in Semester 1 of 2015. The Scholarships will be awarded in order of merit. The Scholarship provides a one-of, non-renewable payment for living allowances only and will be paid to the Scholarship recipient upon their arrival in Adelaide.

How to Apply: An application for admission to the University in 2015 will constitute an application for a Scholarship provided that a completed Scholarship application form is also forwarded electronically to the Faculty by 31st October 2014. Successful recipients will receive the Scholarship offer from the Faculty of the Professions. All applications will be assessed on a merit-based selection process. To accept the Scholarship, the recipient MUST accept the University offer of admissions by the deadline stipulated in the Scholarship offer letter. If no response is received by the specified deadline, the offer of the Scholarship will lapse and will be offered to the next eligible candidate. The University reserves the right not to award the Scholarships if there are no candidates of sufficient merit as determined in each case, or to amend the availability of Scholarships and/or the information provided in the Scholarships details at anytime.
