California State University Long BeachCSU Scholarship Program for Future Scholars

California State University is awarding scholarship of $1000. The applicants for this scholarship must be California residents, graduates from any California high school, and be disadvantaged because of their economic, educational or environmental background. Applicants must also meet published CSU admissions requirements and enroll at CSULB full-time during their first year.

CSULB Academic Scholarship

This academic scholarship is renewable annually based on maintenance of satisfactory academic progress .The president’s scholars program provides california residents who are qualifying Valedictorians or National Merit Semifinalists / Finalists from accredited high schools an opportunity to compete for a range of scholarships. Valedictorians may qualify for up to $35,000 for 4 years. National Merit Semifinalists / Finalists may qualify for up to $43,000 for 4 years.

California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) Scholarships

To apply for this scholarship the applicants must be graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement in high school and show promise of continued achievement in college. For this scholarship student must be nominated by their high school.

Community-Based Scholarships

It include the following scholarships as follows:
Alan Pattee Scholarship is a waiver of fees and tuition. To apply for this scholarship the applicant must be the natural or adopted child of a deceased law enforcement official or fire fighter who was a California resident, and killed as a result of the performance of official duties.
Assistance League of Long Beach Scholarship selection process includes a personal interview during the spring semester. To apply for this scholarship the applicants must be full-time, undergraduate students who have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00, and have at least a sophomore class standing.
EBELL of Los Angeles is awarding scholarship of $2,000 value. To apply for this scholarship the applicants must be new freshman or transfer students, U.S. citizens who attend school full time and who maintain a 3.25 GPA.
Mabel Wilson Richards Scholarship is based on applicants’ scholastic achievement, financial need and academic promise. To apply for this scholarship applicants must be young women who reside in the City of Los Angeles or in one of the cities listed on the application.
Long Beach Rotary Traditional Scholarship of $1,500 value. To apply for this scholarship the applicants must be first-time freshmen who graduate from a high school in the Long Beach area and who plan to attend CSULB or Long Beach City College as full-time students. The applicant must have 2.00 GPA

Study Abroad Scholarships

This scholarship covers $750 value. For this scholarship the applicant must be a U.S. citizen and currently enrolled student at CSULB in good academic standing. The scholarship covers total 8 awards during the calendar year.

ASI-CSULB Study Abroad Scholarships

The Associated Students Inc. (ASI) and the Center for International Education is offering scholarship to enable more students to study, intern, or volunteer abroad. The applicants who are CSULB students in good standing are eligible to apply. Travel Stipend Award levels are up to $2,000 for year-long programs, $1,000 for semester programs and $500 for short-term programs.
