To offer mid-career professionals in the arts and culture sector an exceptional opportunity to undertake an individually tailored leadership programme in the UK, the Chevening Organisation has introduced the Chevening Clore Leadership Fellowship for the academic year 2022-2023.

The scholarship is the outcome of a partnership between the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and Clore Leadership. Students from select international countries are eligible to participate in this scholarship program. The applicants must hold a good honours degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience to be considered for the award worth £18,500, which they can utilise to bear expenses such as accommodation, living expenses, flight tickets, etc.

The Chevening Scholarships were established in 1983 and are the UK government’s global scholarships programme. This scholarship opportunity was established to support the studies of international students at UK universities, mostly one-year Masters’ degrees for students with demonstrable potential to become future leaders, decision-makers, and opinion formers.

Chevening is the UK government’s international awards programme which has been developing future leaders since 1983 and till date, continues to do so. The program highlights that the standard of education imparted in the United Kingdom is very highly regarded internationally and British universities and colleges extend very creative and challenging environments of study that help students to build an intellectual.

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Students from Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Jordan, Lebanon, Mexico and South Africa are eligible to apply. 
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply for higher level degree study in a British university or college of choice. 
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must completed at least five years (or higher as required by Clore Leadership) work, or equivalent experience, by the end of 2022. 
  • The applicants must not hold British or dual British citizenship. 

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: Admission applications are required to be submitted via the respective university portal. Fellowship applications must be submitted online
  • Supporting Documents: The applicants may be required to provide admission documents like a motivation letter, academic transcripts, translations (if required), resume and other documents. 
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must hold a degree equivalent to at least a good UK second-class honours degree or have equivalent professional training and experience. 
  • Language Requirement: The applicants must have a good working knowledge of English.
