Monash University is pleased to offer the Clive Weeks Community Leadership Scholarship to Australian citizens and New Zealand citizens. This scholarship is open to students completing a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at the university. The scholarship is awarded to students enrolling in an undergraduate degree at the university. The scholarship amount is $6000, and several scholarships are available.

About
The Clive Weeks Community Leadership Scholarship has been established for students demonstrating leadership and community engagement or participating in industry engagement opportunities. The financial support from my scholarship allows me to focus more on my studies and contribute through the Access Monash mentoring program. It has also connected me with a scholarship donor who is now a great mentor as I work out where I want to end up professionally and navigate the challenges of studying for an Engineering degree.
Eligibility
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- Australian permanent resident
- Australian humanitarian visa holder
It would help if you met the following criteria:
- A commencing student intends to enroll in an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Engineering at a Monash campus in Australia.
- Demonstrating leadership through community and industry engagement.
- From one or more of Monash University’s defined educational disadvantage categories.
- Selected to be an Access Monash Mentor
Benefits
- $6000 per annum (48 credit points of study) for the duration of your degree.
How to Apply
You must apply to become an Access Monash Mentor by 14 October 2022. To apply for the scholarship, you must submit a scholarship application through VTAC by 7 October 2022. This scholarship cannot be deferred. Every scholarship may have a different application process – or none at all. Read the application details carefully and submit your application by the deadline.
