The program is open to all students from around the world who are an undergraduate junior or senior at a university at the time of the internship. As an intern at CNS, you would be exposed to the development and production pipelines for a traditionally animated series!

With this amazing program, you will get a chance to be familiar with all the functions of the production pipeline for the traditionally animated series and will be mentored by their production staff, about design, storyboard, digital clean-up, color, and much more.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

• International students are eligible to apply
• Be an undergraduate junior or senior at a university at the time of the internship (But, no freshmen, sophomores, grad students or recent grads accepted!)
• Be a rising junior or senior currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university.
• Animation or similar majors are preferred (Illustration, Fine Art, etc).
• Applicants should have a strong academic record (3.0 minimum strongly preferred).
• Should be able to commit 15-20 hours weekly during normal business hours.
• Must be self-motivated, a team player and have a great attitude!
• Be able to multi-task in an environment with short deadlines and quick turnaround projects.
• Prior experience with Photoshop, Filemaker Pro, After Effects, ToonBoom or similar programs is helpful.
• The internship is based at their studios, located in Burbank, CA. If you’re coming from out of the area, please note they do not provide relocation or housing assistance.
• If you are on a student visa, please check with your international student advisor to ensure you qualify. If you’re not on a student visa, they are unable to provide employer sponsorship.
• Recent grads and graduate students are not eligible for the internship program at Cartoon Network Studios.

Internship Description

Cartoon Network is seeking driven, organized and creative interns for our Summer 2019 session!  If you love animation and have an interest in a career in development, production, or animation they have an EPIC opportunity to intern at the greatest all-cartoon network in the world!

With this program, you will also have the opportunity to sit in on pitch meetings, voice records, as well as pitch a storyboard or series/short idea to Cartoon Network staff and execs at the end of the semester! Some general administrative and clerical duties may be assigned.
