- Be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident (including New Zealand Permanent Residents).
- Not hold any other University of Newcastle donor-funded or sponsored scholarship concurrently.
How to Apply
Applicants must submit the following via the University of Newcastle’s online scholarship portal:
- A personal statement (approximately one A4 page) outlining academic achievements, career aspirations, and how the scholarship will assist.
- Up to three documents demonstrating academic achievements, such as awards, internships, or a CV.
- Note: UON transcripts are not required for current students.
Benefits
The successful applicant will receive a one-time payment of $5,000, disbursed as a lump sum after the Semester One census date.
