Dermatology Scholarships for International Students, 2017
Applications are invited for dermatology scholarships available for foreign student who is a citizen of an African or European country other than France to study at University of Laval. Applicants must be graduated from a public university accredited by the ministry of higher education in their country of origin. This scholarship of $7,000 per year is renewable once, subject to compliance with the faculty’s criteria of excellence and upon the research director’s recommendation and faculty approval. The application deadlines are:
Admission for summer 2017: January 15th, 2017
Admission for fall 2017: February 1st, 2017

 Diploma in Dermatology
Award of the Diploma in Dermatology is intended to indicate that a doctor has demonstrated competency, having gained two years’ relevant experience and following a test of practical skills of diagnosis and management, as well as a sound grasp of the principles of dermatology. The written and clinical sections are designed such that a candidate with broad competence should achieve these standards. The Application deadline is12th January.

Program for Innovative Continuing Medical Education in Dermatology (PICMED) Grant
The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) is dedicated to promoting the highest quality of dermatologic care through continuing medical education and research. Applicants may request up to $50,000 (direct costs only) for a two (2) year funding period. The CME program proposals may include creative needs assessment mechanisms, innovative use of technology, unique approaches to specific subject matter, novel presentation techniques and use of existing educational paradigms in new environments. Application deadline is 15th December.

Dermatology Foundation Charles & Daneen Stiefel Scholarship
The Dermatology Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2017 research awards. All research must be conducted under the sponsorship of a department/division of dermatology at a U.S. academic institution. This award is designed to support outstanding investigators committed to elucidating the basis, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, and/or treatment of autoimmune and/or connective tissue diseases affecting adults and/or children. Students are awarded $100,000 annual salary stipend. Application packages for the 2016 Charles & Daneen Stiefel Scholar Award will be accepted by the Dermatology Foundation on October 15.

WCD Dermatology Scholarship
The WCD will provide meritorious dermatologists from around the world, regardless of economic background, the opportunity to participate in the educational and networking benefits of the WCD dermatology scholarship through our scholarship program. Scholarship amounts will be determined by the WCD, and will be used towards defraying the costs of registration, accommodation, and/or travel expenses.

Master Dermatologist Award
American Academy of Dermatology has invited applications for master dermatologist award. The recipient should possess a national or international presence, have well-recognized expertise and should be a longstanding member of the American Academy of Dermatology. The recipient is nominated by the History Committee and approved by the Board of Directors.
