Only applications from new/prospective students who have applied formally to the UCL Development Planning Unit research degree will be considered. There are no restrictions regarding the nationality or domicile of the applicant.

  • How to Apply: To be a part of this program, seekers are advised to be registered as a PhD degree student at University College London and must contact the PhD Programme Administrator ([email protected]). After taking affirmation, students are automatically considered for the scholarship
  • Supporting Documents: The university may ask you for a research, proposal personal statement and provide two references
  • Admission Requirements: Candidates must hold a masters degree certificate with a minimum of 65% marks and must accomplish the other entry requirements of the university
  • Language Requirements: Candidates have to fulfil the English language requirements of the university

Benefits

The scholarship will provide the amount up to £18,670 for tuition fees per year (increasing per year); approx. £16,539 for maintenance per year, incl. London weighting (increasing per year); up to £1,500 for two return flights; up to £450 for fieldwork support (if required).
