Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Self-identify as Black, Asian Pacific Islander, Native American, or female
  • Enroll at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College for the fall 2024 semester
  • Enroll in the Powerline Mechanic Certificate Program
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Be eligible to work in the United States
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and be eligible to obtain a Class A license (applicants must be 18 years of age)
  • Military veterans are highly encouraged to apply, with preference given to California residents
