The KwaZulu Natal Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA) are pleased to offer forth EDTEA Aeronautical Engineering Bursaries for disadvantaged backgrounds holders.

This award will be granted to those applicants who have Grade 12 scores and have a desire to complete their degree in the field of aeronautical engineering.

Eligibility

  • Applicants, who are from KwaZulu-Natal residents as well as having South African citizenship, are eligible.
  • This program will be given to the candidates who are accomplishing their degree in the field of Aeronautical Engineering.
  • For being applied for this grant, a student must be from a disadvantaged background and preferably from rural areas. Only the 15-34 years age group, candidates are allowed to apply.

How to Apply

  • How to apply: To apply, applicants are required to be enrolled in the university course. After taking the admission at university, learners are allowed to submit their application form for this grant.
  • Supporting Documents: For being considered for this award, scholars are required to submit their completed application forms, proof of residence in KwaZulu-Natal, grade 11 end of a year and grade 12 mid-year reports.
  • Admission Requirements: Candidates who are willing to take admission in the Aeronautical Engineering course are required to hold level 6 in English, Mathematics, and Physical Science.
  • Language Requirement: For taking the admi9ision at the university, students body must have bilingual competence in English along with an African language.
  • Deadline: Applications for this academic has been closed but pupils can apply for the next academic session because this is provided each year.
  • Benefit: This award will include the tuition fees along with residential, prescribed books, food and allowance on the academic performance of the applicant.
