Eligibility: Applications to the Edward James Foundation Bursary Fund can be made by anyone who has accepted a place to study at West Dean and who can demonstrate a clear financial need. Preference will be given to students who show that they are pursuing all possible avenues for raising the funds they will need, including applying to other grant-making trusts, part-time /holiday work, loans and so on. These seek the student’s support in acting as an advocate for the College during the time they are at West Dean, and for two years afterwards e.g. by attending a small number of promotional events such as a talk to potential new students (costs of these activities will be covered by the College).
