The Endeavour Awards are governed by the Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education. The main goals of the Endeavour Awards are to offer different prospects for promising individuals from Australia and overseas and to provide growth to their skills and global awareness. To maintain educational and professional links between persons, groups and nations is also one of its aims. Another motto of these awards is to promote Australia in the race of research training provider and to increase the presence of Australians on international quality education platform.

The minimum age for the commencement of their Award is 18 while there is no maximum age limit. There are no limitations on fields of study too. Various Endeavour Awards are as follows:

International applicants should not hold dual citizenship with Australia. They must be citizens and/or permanent residents of a participating country and/or region and remain till the end of the program.
