St Antony’s College of the University of Oxford, in collaboration with the international integrated energy company Eni delivered an Eni Scholarship – DPhil International Development for the academic year 2023-2024.

The scholarships are open to Students from Angola, Ghana, Mozambique, Nigeria, or the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville). Preference will be given to applicants whose first degree is from an African university. The university will provide 100% of the fees and an annual grant for living costs. The scholarship also covers one economy return airfare from their home country to the UK at the start and end of their course.

Eligibility

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: To be considered for the scholarship, follow these three steps:
  • Read the information on this webpage carefully.
  • Apply online to the University of Oxford for a DPhil Degree in International Development. They must submit their application for graduate study to the university by the January deadline for their course. They must have secured a place in their program of study by the final deadline date (1st March 2023). It will help if they select St Antony’s College in the college choice section of the application form, though this is not compulsory.
  • Once they have applied to the university, please complete the online Eni Scholarship application form.
  • Supporting Documents: They will be required to supply supporting documents with their application, including an official transcript and a CV/résumé.
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must meet the entry requirements of the university.
  • Language Requirement: Students must meet the university’s English language requirements.
