The vision of the institute is to harness health data for patient and public benefit by setting the international standard for the safe and secure use of electronic patient records and other population-based datasets for research purposes.

  • Course Level: Studentship is available for pursuing PhD programme.
  • Scholarship Award: The studentships cover UK/Home and EU fees and a yearly stipend (for the academic year 2016-17: £16,539). Overseas applicants who are self-funding or in receipt of a scholarship which covers overseas fees are welcome to apply but are requested to contact the Farr Institute prior to submitting their application.
  • Scholarship can be taken at the UK

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for this studentship:-
  • Applicants should possess a good first degree in a relevant discipline and an MSc or substantial experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Research methods or Bioinformatics.
