The Fulbright Grants are open exclusively to nationals of Kazakhstan who have achieved an outstanding academic performance. These grants are available to pursue teaching/research programme.
The aim of these grants is to support Kazakhstan candidates to the effort, study and research in all areas of knowledge.

Scholarship Award: These grants will cover the followings:
- RESEARCHER MONTHLY STIPEND
$4,870-$6,370 - TEACHING OR TEACHING/RESEARCH AWARD (ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OR BELOW) MONTHLY STIPEND
$5,640-$7,140 - TEACHING OR TEACHING/RESEARCH AWARD (ASSOCIATE OR FULL PROFESSOR) MONTHLY STIPEND
$5,860-$7,360 - ESTIMATED TRAVEL AND RELOCATION ALLOWANCE
$4,500-$12,000 - ESTIMATED BOOK AND RESEARCH ALLOWANCE
$2,100-$2,400 for book and educational materials allowance to be donated to the host institution (or other entity) upon grantee’s departure - DEPENDENT TUITION ALLOWANCE
Up to $7,000 per child (up to two) or $14,000 per family for accompanying dependent children in grades K-12 is reimbursed for a full academic year, upon submission of receipts. Amount may be adjusted for shorter grant periods. Reimbursement is based on actual cost of tuition and fees only or home schooling materials. - SPECIAL AWARD BENEFITS
Visa renewal allowance of up to $2,000 for grants over three months, based on the city of placement
Numbers of Scholarships: Up to five grants are available.

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Open to academics and appropriately qualified professionals outside of academia.
- Applicants with PhD degrees of any academic rank or non-academics with recent PhD degrees and a minimum of three years teaching experience are welcome to apply
Nationality: Kazakhstan applicants can apply for these grants.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must be Ph.D. (or other terminal degree) .
English Language Requirement: Applicants must have proficiency in English language.

An invitation letter may help facilitate placement at that institution but is not a guarantee of final placement. The U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Section (PAS) will decide on the final affiliation: PAS will work with universities to find the best and most appropriate match between the expertise of scholars and the needs of prospective hosts.
