Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Institutions of higher education in the United States
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Any subject offered by the university
  • Admissible Criteria: To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Citizenship, nationality, or permanent residency in the United States.
  • Employment at an institution of higher education.
  • Engagement in relevant teaching for the two years prior.
  • Proposal for research pertinent to their foreign language or area studies specialization (excluding dissertation research).
  • Proficiency in the foreign language necessary for the research project.
