- Eligible Countries: Institutions of higher education in the United States
- Acceptable Course or Subjects: Any subject offered by the university
- Admissible Criteria: To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship, nationality, or permanent residency in the United States.
- Employment at an institution of higher education.
- Engagement in relevant teaching for the two years prior.
- Proposal for research pertinent to their foreign language or area studies specialization (excluding dissertation research).
- Proficiency in the foreign language necessary for the research project.
