  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The PhD scholarship will be awarded in Sports Ethics and Integrity offered by the university.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:
  • Early applications are strongly encouraged. Applicants will normally hold a Bachelor and Master Degree in a field relevant to the topic of study. However, consideration will be given to applicants with only an undergraduate degree (a minimum of a 2.1 (or equivalent)) if additional pertinent experiences can be demonstrated

  • How to Apply: To apply, please complete your application online with the following information:
  • Course choice– please select Mathematics / PhD / Full-time / 3 Year / October.

  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • CV
  • Degree certificates and transcripts (if you are currently studying for a degree, screenshots of your grades to date are sufficient)
  • A cover letter explicitly detailing if more than 1 DAiSI PhD has been applied for (see details above). 
  • Two references (academic or previous employer) on headed paper or using the Swansea University reference form. Please note that we are not able to accept references received citing private email accounts, e.g. Hotmail. Referees should cite their employment email address for verification of reference.
  • Evidence of meeting English Language requirement (if applicable).
  • Copy of UK resident visa (if applicable)
  • Confirmation of EDI form submission (optional)
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must meet the admission requirement of the university at the PhD level.
  • Language Requirement: All candidates must have a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall with at least 5.5 in the four components of language learning.

Benefits

This scholarship covers the full cost of tuition fees and an annual stipend of up to the Sterling equivalent of €55,855 per year. There is also a family and mobility allowance available if required. Additional research expenses will also be available.
