Eligibility: Candidates for the Bronis Geremek Senior:
-Visting Fellowship must be Polish citizens or permanently reside in Poland must hold a senior academic or research position in the humanities or social sciences, at least
-Associate Professor level or equivalent
-Must not be older than 60 years Candidates
Geremek Junior Visting Fellowship:
-Must be Polish citizens or permanently reside in Poland
-Must currently pursue a doctoral degree or have recently obtained a Ph.D. in any discipline in the humanities or social sciences
-Must not be older than 35 years

Scholarship Description: Geremek Fellows will be invited to spend the academic year 2012/13 (ten months from September 2012 to June 2013) at the IWM to pursue their research projects while working in residence. Senior Visiting Fellows will receive a stipend of € 4,000 per month and Junior Visiting Fellows will receive a stipend of EUR 2,000 per month to cover accommodation, living expenses, travel, health insurance and incidentals during the stay in Vienna. Furthermore, the IWM will provide an office, access to the internet, in-house research facilities and other relevant sources in Vienna. The fellows will participate in the scholarly community and activities of the Institute.
